The Beijing Olympics start in 23 days and I have to tell you it's hot in Beijing. The average temperature today is 35C which is 95 degrees! Also the games time version of their (Beijing) official website has been launched. Visit http://en.beijing2008.cn for more information! For some reason when you click on the link, it doesn't open, but it's the right link...so cut and paste into your browser. The new comics for China are now ready and I'm uploading today. They will be in both English & Chinese, but the Chinese balloons will not be ready until this weekend.

Well Bibi bloggers it time to start blogging! The games begin in 27 days and I'm very excited to be your host! This weekend is the launch of Bibi in Beijing on my website and of course we will link to you here. Exciting things are happening for Bibi during the the Olympics, including a new male co-host! 47 Days & Counting

Hello Everyone,

It's been over a month since I last posted. Have been very ill and have recovered 100%. Thank you for all of wishes. News update on "Practice Your English"...my webmaster sucks. I spent months organizing this and he says he prepared everything, then disappeared. So I have regrouped and am bringing another version of this wonderful idea. Sometimes if you wanted something done right you have to do it yourself.

Anyway, I'm posting the new China shortly. I'm very excited and happy to be working with my new Chinese partner Charlotte Barron. Exciting things are happening with this project that go well beyond the Olympics. Stay posted for good news!

Bibi Fans...I'm so busy working on multiple projects! There are new books coming, fantastic new creative images & presentations and new bibi art works! Add that to my busy hectic social schedule...just had the Wine & Food Festival and currently attending the Miami Film Festival. So stay tuned, this month is our big launch!

198 Days To Go

Hi Everyone! Well it's almost time time launch "Practice Your English" with our Chinese friends. We are setting up the details, so that you can subscribe and login to the site. Stay tuned for this one, I think it's going to be fun and funny in a very good way! Also we will be posting links to find various things to do in Beijing. This place is changing so fast, keeping up with all the new information, is a challenge! I will say it is cold in Beijing right now...like 28 degrees today!

Next week we are going to introduce you to Bibi's cousin Li Li. Right now she is in South Beach visiting Bibi, as they plan their adventures in China. The weather in Miami Beach is a little overcast & windy today, but better then the rest of the country..like 78 degrees!

Happy New Year! Countdown to 08.08.08

2008 has finally arrived and will be our most exciting year yet! I hope everyone is in good health and has an fabulous New Year!

I will be introducing you to the new Bibi Characters that will join us for our China adventure. You will meet Bibi's cousin Lili from Mott Street in Chinatown, New York City. She is a lot of fun. Of course we will be joined by Laurent the famous tennis player, and his twin brother Rico the international soccer sensation.

Also joining us is the real life NBA star ERIC WILLIAMS, as our official Basketball ambassador!

This month we also start our official "Practice Your English" with our Chinese friends in Beijing, with Bibi, your fabulous international ambassador of fun & excitement!

Well, my excitement is building as we begin our BIBI IN BEIJING, China Adventure!

Since we are having a Beijing adventure, I thought it might be nice to learn a little history about the city itself, which we will present in the form of FUN FACTS!

* King Wu declared Beijing the capital city in 1057 BC. (that is old..wow!)
* The city has gone by the names of Ji, Zhongdu and Dadu!
* Ming Dynasty Emperor ChengZu chose the name Beijing in 1421
* Before 1949, The Western world knew Beijing as Peking
* The population of Beijing is about 12 million people
* Beijing is located in the northeastern part of China 43.5m above sea level
* Beijing has cold & dry winters and hot summers
* There are 18 districts and counties in Beijing
* Dongcheng, Xicheng, Xuanwu, Chongwen, Chaoyang, Haidian, Fentai, & Shijingshan are in the surburbs
* Fangshan,Mengtougou, Changping, Tongzian, Shunyi, Daxing, Huairou, Miyun, Pingpu & Yianqing are in the outer suburbs
* The whole area of Beijing is about 16808 sq km or about 6,500 sq miles
